The unwritten rules that govern the fights and outright wars between ‘capes’ have been amended: everyone gets their second chance.  It’s an uneasy thing to come to terms with when notorious supervillains and even monsters are playing at being hero.  The world ended two years ago, and as humanity straddles the old world and the new, there aren’t records, witnesses, or facilities to answer the villains’ past actions in the present.  One of many compromises, uneasy truces and deceptions that are starting to splinter as humanity rebuilds.

None feel the injustice of this new status quo or the lack of established footing more than the past residents of the parahuman asylums.  The facilities hosted parahumans and their victims, but the facilities are ruined or gone; one of many fragile ex-patients is left to find a place in a fractured world.  She’s perhaps the person least suited to have anything to do with this tenuous peace or to stand alongside these false heroes.  She’s put in a position to make the decision: will she compromise to help forge what they call, with dark sentiment, a second golden age?  Or will she stand tall as a gilded dark age dawns?

The average person can easily understand that when it comes to living in a city like Brockton Bay, treating life like a game can get you killed. It's kind of ironic, then, that Greg Veder has always been far more serious about games than he ever has about life.

When some powers are abused its inevetable that someone will asl the question.

It's been about two months since my Trigger Event and I'm being moved out to Brockton Bay to live with my uncle. A city infested with supervillains, some of the worst humanity has to offer, is the perfect place for me. Evil must be punished. I will never compromise in this, not even in the face of Armageddon.

So, this story features Taylor as protagonist, within an alternative universe of Worm. She also has an alternative power. Instead of insect control, she is a tinker focused on simplistic disposable minions.

Altpower!Taylor. Taylor gets a totally different power. Most notably, the ability to kill with a touch. Technically a crossover, but not very much. Rated M for violence and a lot of bad language

Time marches forever on. Towers turn to ash and men to dust. The greatest of creations, though, weather the unstoppable wash of years. Elders teach the young and the young go on to build ever-greater works. Those who learn to stand upon the shoulders of giants can see unimagined wonders. Altpower. Fusion.

Taylor is kidnapped and stuffed into a cryopod by a Grineer science/raiding party in 2009 while at summer camp. The Grineer’s ship suffers a malfunction and is trapped in the Void. Taylor wakes and is eventually discovered by a Tenno party.

In a world where superpowered individuals are coming into existence day by day, there are 16 teenagers living in this broken world. They have acquired superpowers, and will be the next superheroes and supervillains. But, will they even survive their adolescence? Having superpowers is hard.

The most cliche Wormfic premise (an alt-power Taylor with everything else unchanged) and the most cliche Familiarfic premise (Louise summoning someone other than Saito Hiraga) aggressively mash themselves together to form... something. Taylor literally falls out of the filthy locker and into Halkeginia, and voidhax and shardnanigans interact in weird ways. Also, not as much escalation as one might expect. You might like it, I dunno.

Taylor Hebert didn't really leave the locker a changed woman as much as she kicked her way out of it high on adrenaline after just killing an overgrown spider with too few legs. Outed as a cape by both her exit and her appearance, she has to navigate the treacherous cape scene of Brockton Bay with the power to turn ex-living beings into PR-unfriendly weaponry and armor while monsters mysteriously appear around her. They don't survive the ordeal. Also kleptomaniac cats.

A different past leads to a different future, and when Taylor discovers her Mother's legacy nothing will be the same again. In a world of Heroes and Villains, Monsters and Madness, will she stand true to her legacy, or will Darkness engulf all?

Taylor has been alone, been trusted, been praised. Taylor has seen Winslow, seen Endbringers, seen gods. Taylor is ready for a change, for Lizzy to get off her lazy ass, for a little cash to get her dog a treat. One day a door appeared on a wall on Brockton Bay, a wooden french door, painted a nice green, a single wooden pane with a white curtain behind it and a sign saying open in between. Above the door also appeared a bronze plaque stating “Item Shop”. Through the door stands the shop of the Bay’s new rogue, offering a selection of almost fantastical items and rumors.

Two and a half well intentioned fools find themselves in the Worm Universe, gifted by Abaddon, the third entity. In their attempts to save some, they may just doom all. SI based on the Worm CYOA Update Gimel.

AN: The basic premise is this: shrines from LoZ Breath of the Wild appear in Brockton Bay, as well as a tower and sheikah slates, and they grant all the powers they do in the game. People start completing the various challenges, competing to get the most spirit orbs. This is not video game mechanics though, those are silly. The one good thing about this is it isn’t an alt-powers, so be glad of that. The bad thing is I will most likely horribly mangle whatever character is chosen to be he protagonist.
