The unwritten rules that govern the fights and outright wars between ‘capes’ have been amended: everyone gets their second chance.  It’s an uneasy thing to come to terms with when notorious supervillains and even monsters are playing at being hero.  The world ended two years ago, and as humanity straddles the old world and the new, there aren’t records, witnesses, or facilities to answer the villains’ past actions in the present.  One of many compromises, uneasy truces and deceptions that are starting to splinter as humanity rebuilds.

None feel the injustice of this new status quo or the lack of established footing more than the past residents of the parahuman asylums.  The facilities hosted parahumans and their victims, but the facilities are ruined or gone; one of many fragile ex-patients is left to find a place in a fractured world.  She’s perhaps the person least suited to have anything to do with this tenuous peace or to stand alongside these false heroes.  She’s put in a position to make the decision: will she compromise to help forge what they call, with dark sentiment, a second golden age?  Or will she stand tall as a gilded dark age dawns?

A new piece has been set in the grand game of Superheroes, with one hand set to flip the board and break out the video games. But first, he has to deal bullying Wards and his new powers. Not quite a Gamer fic.

Most of the time, the focus of a Worm story is a hero screwing over the villains. Or a villain being even worse and winning that way. Me? I'm just a Phantom Thief. Even so, I'll save this city, one stolen heart at a time!

I knew that getting reborn into a world like Worm could be dangerous, but I wasn't expecting to get kidnapped by a crazy cult dedicated to the Endbringers to be used as a sacrifice. True, I'm now strong enough that no one will ever be able to permanently hurt me again, but I still could have done without the oversized needle to the heart.

After the locker, Emma is happy that she proves she is strong again, but the truth is she is fragile and she's starting to crack.

While being force to socialise by her sister, Amy Dallon meets a mute who's just as bored as she is.

Taylor triggers with the tinker ability to make Pokemon. Things sort of take off from there. This Taylor will seem a little different from canon Taylor because she triggered at a different point.

Taylor Hebert had a bad day, and came out of it changed.

Some parahumans can control bugs. Some can build advanced technology. Some can do unspeakable things to space and time.

Taylor can make magic rings, wondrous metals, mysterious weapons, and may not be a parahuman--or, indeed, human--at all.

Twenty years after the events of Worm, humanity struggles to continue on. A severely diminished population and shattered infrastructure has left humanity in dire straits; some places live in relative closeness to the modern day, while others are closer to the dark ages. Strange creatures roam the lands, people gain super powers, and even basic commodities like gasoline can be hard to secure.

The story focuses on a young man named Jordan, a mercenary with simple dreams. But dreams are always difficult to realize, and sometimes a person is pushed in strange directions. And in this dangerous world, sometimes it’s the ones with hope that will suffer the most, and be the most dangerous.

Taylor's trigger was interrupted by a very different source of power.

With Keyblade in hand, Taylor must open the way.

Granted powers from another world, Taylor Hebert must deal with a world of Capes who want to kill her once they discover that she can permanently steal powers.

Taylor is kidnapped and stuffed into a cryopod by a Grineer science/raiding party in 2009 while at summer camp. The Grineer’s ship suffers a malfunction and is trapped in the Void. Taylor wakes and is eventually discovered by a Tenno party.

Sometimes two minds aren't better than one. Driven to the verge of suicide by bullying, Taylor gains the ability to copy powers permenenatly...and minds, memories, and emotions. As she struggles with depression and the drastic changes that each new 'self' creates in her, starting with Sophia, she also tries to create a movement and be a hero. But punching someone is far harder than fixing the broken world, especially when you're a girl with a broken mind. Psychological. Mentally mixed-up Taylor.

Armsmaster gets a call from his sister-in-law, who needs him to look after his teenage nephew for a while. Yu Narukami is a well-behaved young man, he shouldn't be any trouble at all. Really.

Where a girl finds true friends when she looks within. And where friends see what lies beneath the surface.

A minor change in her trigger event leads to a different expression of Taylor's power. Faced with a power both ridiculous and terrifying, how will she deal with the path laid out for her? Two things to note: One, while this will be humorous, it will also be very dark. I don't write pure crackfic. Secondly, all songs and lyrics belong to their respective writers and singers.

Things go according to Alexandria's plan during Cell. A discredited Taylor is sent to the Birdcage for killing Tagg, but Cauldron intercepts her and puts her to work.

In which Taylor is a different sort of human altogether. After her initial forays into heroism don't go as planned, Taylor Hebert sets out on another path. But as she and her friends soon discover: all roads lead to Amber.

A self insert that doesn't know of the setting he's fallen into, lost and at a loss. Someone that doesn't even understand the power and shackles forced upon him. A butterfly hurricane dropped into Brockton Bay before a certain girl planned to go out as a hero.

Runaway Capes have a tendency to stick together. They also have a tendency to make bad decisions.

A worm Peggy Sue fic in which Skitter circa the Noelle fight finds herself launched backwards through time, arriving in the midst of her ill-fated first meeting with Emma and Sophia. Needless to say, Taylor isn't given the option of trying to ride out the past unchanged and the resulting Temporal Butterfly Garden may as well have it in for her sanity...
