The unwritten rules that govern the fights and outright wars between ‘capes’ have been amended: everyone gets their second chance.  It’s an uneasy thing to come to terms with when notorious supervillains and even monsters are playing at being hero.  The world ended two years ago, and as humanity straddles the old world and the new, there aren’t records, witnesses, or facilities to answer the villains’ past actions in the present.  One of many compromises, uneasy truces and deceptions that are starting to splinter as humanity rebuilds.

None feel the injustice of this new status quo or the lack of established footing more than the past residents of the parahuman asylums.  The facilities hosted parahumans and their victims, but the facilities are ruined or gone; one of many fragile ex-patients is left to find a place in a fractured world.  She’s perhaps the person least suited to have anything to do with this tenuous peace or to stand alongside these false heroes.  She’s put in a position to make the decision: will she compromise to help forge what they call, with dark sentiment, a second golden age?  Or will she stand tall as a gilded dark age dawns?

Some time post-GM, OC Delilah Williams is promoted to Director of "PRT Midwest", following the grisly murder of the previous Director. She is cast into the post-GM world of politics and conflict as she tries to unravel a potential threat to the PRT as a whole.

Taylor’s bullying has reached its peak. Hurtful words and the smell of rotting blood and worse; it’s hard to tell which makes her feel worse. Fortunately, her new power makes it so she doesn’t worry about little things like that anymore.

Taylor triggers with a Sentient power, it decides to grant her power based on video games, shenanigans ensue!

Basic plot would be SI wakes up as the devil himself Lucifer Morningstar in the world of Worm, and pardon the pun, just winging it.

She needed approval. She needed a parent, an audience, something; she had never felt so painfully and truly alone. She watched the clones mature at an accelerated pace, made Blasto sing until he died, and watched the rest of the Nine - her family - lie asleep in stasis, all while she struggled to maintain her conviction.

Bonesaw, Riley, passenger, host; lonely artist, lonely little girl.

It was raining above Brockton. It was not the sort of rain Leviathan produced, all solid sheets of grey slurry, but a mild one. One got the impression that if one asked this rain about the rain that came yesterday, it would wince and refer to that storm as its cousin Darryl, who had made a few bad choices in college and had fallen in with the wrong crowd, if you knew what it meant.

An AU - Taylor Hebert lost more than just some dignity when she was shoved in the locker. Infections hospitalised her and destroyed her vocal chords. In desperate need for people to pay attention, her powers developed rather differently.

The park fit my mood perfectly. Even in August only scrubby weeds were poking through the baked clay and the sediment of poor decisions littering the ground. A small collection of mushrooms had sprouted from last night’s rain, probably feeding off something cute and helpless that had been taunted and pushed and laughed at for NO REASON and who thought it had a friend but was then stabbed in the back. And now it was mushroom food, with only beer bottles and (I hope that’s candy) wrappers to mourn it.

Sometimes, a one in a million occurrence can let someone play their hand again. But sometimes, that second chance can be mistaken for something else entirely. Sometimes though, sometimes it all works out for the best.

When Taylor went into the locker, she drew the attention of two beings. One offered an absent thought, and a broken tool that wasn't even meant for her. The other took a more personal approach.

Taylor has the ability to craft SCPs, granted to due some shenanigans that will be revealed later.

While she is the one driving the events of the story, she will not be the focus. Instead, this story will be done through the lens of a few members of Brockton Bay's PRT staff.

First time posting a story like this, so please let me know what you think. This story was inspired by Dreaming of Foxfire by the good @Thanatanos, which I greatly enjoyed.

So, this story features Taylor as protagonist, within an alternative universe of Worm. She also has an alternative power. Instead of insect control, she is a tinker focused on simplistic disposable minions.

Taylor and Lisa, after shenanigans that led to them being planted in another dimension almost forty years in the past...have settled down. Had their fun. Done their time...and had a daughter of their very own.

Now, its Hermione Hebert's turn to shine in the spotlight...hopefully, not quite as brightly as her mother and father did. She isn't that type of girl!

Once upon a time a Nice Guy found himself joining a band of the most wonderful chaps he'd ever met. One Mr. Slash decided to let the fellow tag along on their wondrous and whimsical wanderings. Now, the delightful chap that nobody could bring themselves to hate regales us with the times he went on tour with them, the splendorous spoils of their sprees, and the quiet happy people that that naughty Protectorate won't let you get to know.

Premise of this fic is Taylor gets a tinker power that gives her access to modded minecraft tech. Pure tinker with no gamer style breaker component. Her power also helpfully expresses itself as an NEI/JEI style interface (list of everything she can make that shows processes required to make most things) unfortunately it doesn't include knowledge of exactly what these items do just the name and the recipe.

Instead of Endbringers, a different kind of menace makes itself known, forcing any sort of cops and robbers game into the back of anyone's mind. Survival of the human species against such a threat was more important, and anyone who took advantage of that was dealt with swiftly. The PRT is hiring more and more people for their hunting squads, no matter the age, and with benefits like that it's hard to say no. Especially if you're wanted for murder or a lot of armed robberies.

Post-Golden Morning Worm/Young Justice. (Extra - For those who recognize the Novel)

A strange anomaly, another universe, and now there are hundreds, maybe thousands, of strange capes popping u all of a sudden and a young girl who idolizes heroes and her alien parasite have latched onto her. What is poor Taylor to do? Rated for language

When in the locker Taylor get several strong, versatile powers given to her by an outside factor. She instantly uses this to break out of the locker and attack Sophia and Emma, a lot of trouble ensues. So ROBs are used in the beginning to give her power. Magic will play a minor or major roll depending on how it turns out.

During the Leviathan battle, things change. A young girl named Riza gets a very strange power, Taylor gets a voice inside her head, and Brockton Bay is about to get a few very strange visitors. The story will have an amount of butterfly effect to it, following the cannon very closely and diverging as the small changes take hold.

When one reaches the bottom, the only way to go is up. Taylor takes a few extra seconds in an emergency to help an acquaintance, and breaks the story . . .

Taylor Hebert dies in the locker. Then she wakes up in her grave, changed. Powerful. With faint memories of a life not her own. And why does she dream of a castle in the mountains?

Taylor triggers as a Tinker (oh god not another one) with access to the Cybran tech tree from Supreme Commander. If you've read A Cloudy Path (and you should) things will start at least a little bit familiar, but keep in mind Cybrans fight very different than Aeon. The Cybran tech is the extent of the AU/crossover, there won't be any surprise visits from Dr. Brackman or other SupCom bits and pieces, and any changes from canon are either a direct result of Taylor's different powers or my own genuine mistake. If I dun goofed about canon, let me know and I'll fix it if at all possible.

Fallen Child 1.1

Twenty years after the events of Worm, humanity struggles to continue on. A severely diminished population and shattered infrastructure has left humanity in dire straits; some places live in relative closeness to the modern day, while others are closer to the dark ages. Strange creatures roam the lands, people gain super powers, and even basic commodities like gasoline can be hard to secure. The story focuses on a young man named Jordan, a mercenary with simple dreams. But dreams are always difficult to realize, and sometimes a person is pushed in strange directions. And in this dangerous world, sometimes it’s the ones with hope that will suffer the most, and be the most dangerous.

The world first saw Harry Bailey in a photo kneeling on a road before the Endbringer the Simurgh. The Simurgh's psychic scream drove entire cities mad. In Harry, it woke something else entirely. He never told the heroes what happened. After all, how could a young boy explain memories he could not possibly have, of a powerful, ancient sorcerer from a universe that preceded his own?

Taylor's trigger was interrupted by a very different source of power.

Taylor is kidnapped and stuffed into a cryopod by a Grineer science/raiding party in 2009 while at summer camp. The Grineer’s ship suffers a malfunction and is trapped in the Void. Taylor wakes and is eventually discovered by a Tenno party.

I'm Perihuman, and this is my first posting foray into Spacebattles (long time lurker of your funky fresh fanfics), and I wanted to share the first chapter of a Worm/Warcraft crossover fanfiction I'll be posting here! I plan on putting it on FFnet or AO3 when at least the first arc is complete. I've posted before on FFnet, but I want to start fresh with a brand new username. If anyone wants to beta-read for me, hook me up with a message. This story will feature some Out-of-Character experiences, and will loosely follow canon events unless changed.

It goes somewhat differently after that, as her call for help is answered by something from a lot further away than one might expect...

A story in which Taylor makes a very large friend, the world gets confused, and Danny comes into his own.

Runaway Capes have a tendency to stick together. They also have a tendency to make bad decisions.

This is just a brief side project while I work on Sand and Fury, but I'm liking it so far and I thought I'd share with you.

Basic premise is that the SI arrives at the worst possible moment, when the original team drops Cadmus's ceiling on Blockbuster. The Worm half is where the powers come from. I honestly debated handing him Kaneki's powerset from Tokyo Ghoul but decided that would be too angsty.

The most cliche Wormfic premise (an alt-power Taylor with everything else unchanged) and the most cliche Familiarfic premise (Louise summoning someone other than Saito Hiraga) aggressively mash themselves together to form... something. Taylor literally falls out of the filthy locker and into Halkeginia, and voidhax and shardnanigans interact in weird ways. Also, not as much escalation as one might expect. You might like it, I dunno.

Clockblocker found a new video game to play. Now, normally, there wouldn’t be anything odd about this. After all, the Heroes’ break room does include a TV with various movies and games for anyone who wants to unwind, which Wards like Clockblocker and Kid Win and Protectorate members like Assault and the recently graduated Triumph like to make use of. Even the fact that the game stars them isn’t all that odd, as there were plenty of promotional games that include heroes, both real and fictional, in some way. What was odd, though, was the nature of the game itself. For one, no one had heard of the game, not even the studio that supposedly made the game in the first place. No one seems to know who left the game in the collection, either, and the title, “Worm: Earth Mem” was somewhat odd as well. What did worms have to do with anything? Most shockingly, though, was how… well informed this game seemed to be.

It's the 1800's, and the Western Frontier is plagued by Cowboys, Bandits, Indians, Gunslingers, and most importantly, Cloaks, people with supernatural abilities far beyond the limits of mortality.

One of these Cloaks is Sophia Hess, a young but experienced twenty-something drifter, travelling from town to town to satisfy her need for action, doing good deads along the way. Armed with a revolver, a crossbow, a breaker-ability and her wits, and assisted by her loyal steed, Jumper, she took on a mission through a dangerous stretch of desert, delivering much needed medical supplies to a lonely frontier town by the name of Brockton Gulch, where the young heroine, known as the fastest gun west of the Mississippi, will stumble into a dangerous plot, that leads her and her new allies through bandit camps, trains, boarding schools, airships and Aztec temples.

Taylor Hebert, bullied here, does a few things differently and winds up meeting a very different Undersider, in rather different circumstances. Rachel is a main character, btw. Minor AU.

A worm Peggy Sue fic in which Skitter circa the Noelle fight finds herself launched backwards through time, arriving in the midst of her ill-fated first meeting with Emma and Sophia. Needless to say, Taylor isn't given the option of trying to ride out the past unchanged and the resulting Temporal Butterfly Garden may as well have it in for her sanity...

You are Olivia Trebilcock, and you're going to have to deal with mental stress, school work, your foster family, and a plethora of other problems. At the same time, you should also get your parahuman career started.

AN: The basic premise is this: shrines from LoZ Breath of the Wild appear in Brockton Bay, as well as a tower and sheikah slates, and they grant all the powers they do in the game. People start completing the various challenges, competing to get the most spirit orbs. This is not video game mechanics though, those are silly. The one good thing about this is it isn’t an alt-powers, so be glad of that. The bad thing is I will most likely horribly mangle whatever character is chosen to be he protagonist.

You are Zelda Hyrule, daughter of Rheoam Bosphoramus Hyrule, AKA the CEO of Hyrule Co. and the top of your class. And you are so excited! A few days ago these mysterious “shrines” have popped up out of nowhere all around the city, along with a very tall tower. People have been getting “Sheikah Slates” from a pedestal near the tower and using it to get into the shrines to do challenges. That’s not what you are interested in though.
