The Supreme Chancellor has secretly sent two Jedi Knights as ambassadors to resolve this issue...

Instead of controlling insects, Taylor can summon people and creatures from other universes. These include (but are not limited to) Warhammer 40k, Pokemon, World of Warcraft, Magic: The Gathering, Guild Wars, League of Legends, DOTA II, Overwatch, Halo, and Metal Gear Solid.

Follow the wacky, goofy adventures of a subpar high school student dropped into a city (somehow) worse than Detroit! I'm joking of course, Detroit is far worse.

As a kid you wanted to be a Hero ... which is now harder because standing in front of you is the human-scaled Simurgh giving you the shovel talk, claiming that if you do anything to hurt her siblings she would make your life a hell worse than it already is. Funny. You called the PRT and the hotline lady thought you were pulling her leg.

You would be doing some underage drinking right now if it weren't for the fact that even if you could get a fake driver's license you didn't even have the cash in the first place.

So instead you have decided to do something you should have done for a whole month: go out and do your first patrol.

You're halfway through the third martini and just about to peel off the second blonde's dress when the phone rings.

The default three-tone cycle of all Stark-Cell services. That meant a number not in your contacts. That meant work. That meant Pepper.

You squirm in your chair, uncomfortable. The chair itself is plush and made from a fine material – genuine leather, maybe? – but something doesn’t let you find a comfortable position. Something.

You keep your mind focused on the ticking of a clock situated at the far end of the room. It’s old, made of wood and metal and grit and time, and the ticking sound of the pendulum – that’s what its called, right? – might as well be the report of a rifle in the quiet of the room. Though it’s not so much the sound, you do live in Brockton Bay after all, but the fact that it’s even there in the first place. It’s just . . . out-of-place. You haven’t seen an analog clock in years, or at least a working one. Winslow, shithole that it is, sometimes has cheap, plastic clocks hanging on the walls. Half the rooms don’t have them, and most students and teachers use their phones to check the time.

Taylor Triggers with the power to attain skills and knowledge at roughly 365 times the speed.

How will this change the story told so many times?

Monsters to the left of me. Killers to the right. And here I am, stuck in the middle with you. It's really not the best of situations, is it? Stranded, marooned in this desolate, scorched wasteland with the only law being what lies at the barrel of a gun. It's hell out there, but maybe, working together, we can make something of it.

Brockton Bay was no stranger to a random gunshot ringing out at night followed by a car crashing, but for the inhabitants of the city that gunshot could have heralded the death of a loved one, the failed attempt to kill a rival, any myriad sort of reasons became plausible for anyone who heard the gunshot and after a moment of silence some people shrugged and got back to their lives, expecting to hear about it in a side-piece in the local news and then forget all about the likely horrific event that had occurred.

Alright, lets take the plunge. I'm going by the seat of my pants here. I've got some ideas floating around, nothing to concrete. This can be seen as a mild fusion now that I really think about it. Giant space shards are things these days. I've no beta, my timeline is kinda abstract, I'm not sure if it should be March or August for Annette, so I'm going with the latter for now. And I've not really written anything in years. Any typos and corrections would be appreciated, along with ideas and what have you. Nothing yet is set in stone, the end of this first thing kinda sets the point of that. Anyway, hope you enjoy.

Some time post-GM, OC Delilah Williams is promoted to Director of "PRT Midwest", following the grisly murder of the previous Director. She is cast into the post-GM world of politics and conflict as she tries to unravel a potential threat to the PRT as a whole.

Taylor Hebert had to deal with anger ever since the summer camp - both her own and others'. First day back after winter break, her life changed forever.

Taylor Hebert triggers in the locker but instead of finding bugs she becomes the administrator of... weather! Shaker powers are neat. Also the justice system is less incompetent than canon. Gonna go off the canon rails pretty quick due to butterfly effect, but will hit some of the stations.

Taylor has the ability to craft SCPs, granted to due some shenanigans that will be revealed later.

While she is the one driving the events of the story, she will not be the focus. Instead, this story will be done through the lens of a few members of Brockton Bay's PRT staff.

It's time for the Bay to Pick It's Poison...

The author wakes up in Brocton Bay with the powers of a Psychic from Stars Without Number 1e. Now, all he has to do is survive Leviathan, invent future technology, level well past the average, and try not to be driven insane by his own powers. Should be simple, right? Contains some fourth wall breaking/poking, themes of depression, and a plot partially driven by dice rolls.

We take the tale up in early February of 2011, when Sophia incites a group of boys to chase Taylor down and duct-tape her to a telephone pole. It all goes horribly wrong from the moment that they catch her. Things will never be the same again, for Taylor Hebert or for Brockton Bay.

Taylor triggers with the tinker ability to make Pokemon. Things sort of take off from there. This Taylor will seem a little different from canon Taylor because she triggered at a different point.

Kischur Zelretch Zweinorg is a troll. But even trolls can have their moment of good. To save the world from destruction, he will give Taylor Hebert a chance to wield the powers of myths and legends. The problem? She has to win them all - in the Holy Grail War.

Taylor triggers as a Tinker (oh god not another one) with access to the Cybran tech tree from Supreme Commander. If you've read A Cloudy Path (and you should) things will start at least a little bit familiar, but keep in mind Cybrans fight very different than Aeon. The Cybran tech is the extent of the AU/crossover, there won't be any surprise visits from Dr. Brackman or other SupCom bits and pieces, and any changes from canon are either a direct result of Taylor's different powers or my own genuine mistake. If I dun goofed about canon, let me know and I'll fix it if at all possible.

Taylor snapped in the locker, triggering with Glaistig Uanie's power set. She goes on a rampage, causing Emma to trigger with a special Tinker power. After weeks to months of hunting Taylor down, they finally manage to pin her and trap her inside her own special prison. Pandora's Box. Years later, Tattletale, Kid Win, Foil, and Parian spring her free in order to stop the slow and eventual destruction of the world. A journey ensues.

The world first saw Harry Bailey in a photo kneeling on a road before the Endbringer the Simurgh. The Simurgh's psychic scream drove entire cities mad. In Harry, it woke something else entirely. He never told the heroes what happened. After all, how could a young boy explain memories he could not possibly have, of a powerful, ancient sorcerer from a universe that preceded his own?

A minor change in her trigger event leads to a different expression of Taylor's power. Faced with a power both ridiculous and terrifying, how will she deal with the path laid out for her? Two things to note: One, while this will be humorous, it will also be very dark. I don't write pure crackfic. Secondly, all songs and lyrics belong to their respective writers and singers.

After a tragic accident, one author makes a deal they don't understand and end up in the worm universe, stuck as Taylor Herbert's bodyguard, emotional counselor, in house assassin. Basically you name it, and the Newley christened Moira Grey is now it for one Taylor Herbert.

Taylor has a bad day that ends in a locker. Everyone has heard that one.

It goes somewhat differently after that, as her call for help is answered by something from a lot further away than one might expect...

A story in which Taylor makes a very large friend, the world gets confused, and Danny comes into his own.

Runaway Capes have a tendency to stick together. They also have a tendency to make bad decisions.

Basic premise is that the SI arrives at the worst possible moment, when the original team drops Cadmus's ceiling on Blockbuster. The Worm half is where the powers come from. I honestly debated handing him Kaneki's powerset from Tokyo Ghoul but decided that would be too angsty.

years after Gold Morning, Taylor had a child. Now, that child is in high school and has powers. She also worships Khepri. What could go wrong?

Annette Hebert used to read Alice in Wonderland to her daughter every night, and now instead of triggering with control over insects, she triggers with a fractured mind that brings wonder and insanity to Brockton Bay.

Twice Angra Mainyu was rejected by the Grail War’s victor and twice it was nearly destroyed. Twice Angra Mainyu has been made a fool of, but it had learned its lesson well. Using the dimensional gateway the Greater Grail has to the Root, Angra Mainyu pulls itself and the entirety of the Holy Grail into a new reality in hopes that it will have more luck there. However, at the same time another entity was seeking to make a connection.​

Now in the body of a teenage girl whose life has just ended, Angra Mainyu must survive in the world of Worm while desperately trying to facilitate a Holy Grail War that no one seems to want to properly participate in. In this new time and place of possibility and adventure, one thing is for certain...Being the Holy Grail is suffering.

Welcome to my new quest. Now, first and foremost, I have run quests before on different sites, under different aliases, but I've never precisely run something on a forum like SB/SV before. It's a bit different than what I'm used to, but I'll try my best. I'm used to a very fast-moving quest, a post every ten minutes with instant votes, but I'll try to keep the pace a bit more sedate for this new environment. This is a Worm Quest, and you guys are going to be playing an original character who knows... well, a lot. Almost as much as someone who'd browsed through the story knows. His name is Echo, and he is a parahuman who has lived and died and lived and died repeatedly for centuries. His memory isn't quite perfect, and he doesn't quite know everything... but he gets the gist. His power doesn't quite fit the 'theme' of normal powers- almost on the scale of an Outside Context Problem- and there's a reason for it. Only time will tell if you learn precisely why that is.
