Taylor Hebert is unknowingly the descendant of a long line of Saiyans but she doesn't discover her true power until she is rescued by a mysterious martial artist.

Queen Administrator got damaged when Eden landed. After Zion tried to apply some basic repairs, it’s sent on its way. Due to the damage done to it, the Shard adapts a bit, trying to repair the damage done on the way. Taylor’s power adapts with it. Some creative freedom is also taken with a character.

A game will be played. And it will leave a mess in its wake. A game of life and death at their absolute extremes. A game of Eight Heroes trying to claim the Ultimate Reward.

But the game is yet to be played, it's too soon, as the Players aren't ready, and their guardians are scattered, some yet to even meet their wards. Besides, Agents must be employed to both set it up and clean after it.

And so we watch a 1997s Brockton Bay serve as an initial stage. Where both the misplaced Agents and the guardians would converge.

BIND itself is not your typical Worm fic. While it follows a parahuman and deals with them frequently, the story is more akin to a detective novel than a superhero one. Specter is essentially a serial killer, and the main character is someone dead set on finding him. A good portion of the narrative will be focused on interviewing witnesses and uncovering clues. That said, it’s also character heavy rather than action. Not that it won’t have it’s exciting moments.

Taylor has obtained the box of Lemarchand, a device leading to untold horrors and delights. What will become of Brockton Bay’s Protectorate when Angels (to some, demons to others) are loosed upon the streets, seeking out one of their victims that has managed to escape?

SI is passingly aware of the story of Worm. SI is dumped in a Endbringer body. They are also a Greater Grail, and thus this particular Endbringer has been corrupted by humanity due to connection to the Throne of Heroes (Emotions and Free Will, yay!). Also said Endbringer has no offensive capabilities beyond being Brute: Yes due to general Endbringer-ness. All defensive or support. That said, SI has access to 13 servants drawn from the FGO classes.

This is Completely Unoriginal, with one difference. It shouldn’t take long to figure out what that difference is. For new readers: this is a Self Insert, with power-manipulation abilities, in Brockton Bay. Expect fucking about.

Her home is destroyed, her only surviving family is her sister, and now she attempts to rebuild a life in the city of Boston as its newest Ward.
